God’s plan for you!
Who is God
God has a plan for each one of us. He created us for a reason. He wants to be with us and He wants each one of us to have a meaningful and abundant life here and eternal life with Him in Heaven.
What does the Bible Say about this?
John 10:10 “I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly.” (New International Version)
John 3:16 “For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.” (New International Version)
What happened to God’s plan? Why are there so many who don’t know Him?
Even though God made us to love Him and to be with Him, He does not force us to do so. God allows us to make our own choices. The problem is that we have chosen to disobey God. This causes us to be separated from the very One who loves us the most, from the very One who made us to be with Him.
What does the Bible Say about this?
Romans 3:23 “For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God. ” (New International Version)
Romans 6:23 “ For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.” (New International Version)
Jesus Christ willingly gave His life on the cross, was buried in a tomb and rose again after three days. He did this to pay the price for the sins of every man, woman, boy, and girl who lives, who has ever lived, and who will ever live. Jesus did this for us because of God’s love for us.
God provided a way for us to be with Him but everyone must make the choice!
Through Jesus Christ we can know that we will live with God for eternity! Because of His mercy we no longer have to be separated from God and through His grace we can receive forgiveness for our sins.
So what does God want you to do?
Admit: That you are a sinner that has wronged God
Believe: That Jesus died to pay for your sins and that He rose again
Confess: Jesus as Lord and Savior of your life.
You can take these steps by praying a simple prayer to God!
Dear Jesus, I know that I am a sinner and that my sin has broken my relationship with you. Thank you for dying on the cross to pay for my sins. I receive you, Jesus, as my Savior. Please forgive me of my sins and come into my life. Make me the kind of person your want me to be. Thank you for giving me a new life in you.
-Amen
